Shipping & Returns

Q:  When will you ship my book(s)?
A:  Most in-stock orders are shipped within 1 business day. However, depending on the time of day and/or the day in the week, orders may not be shipped until the next business day. We only ship Monday through Friday excluding holidays. Our shipping rates follow.

Q: How will you be sending my order?
A: We ship most orders USPS Media Mail unless otherwise specified.

Q: How long will it take my order to arrive?
A:  Media Mail (usually take about 10 to 14 days.

Q: What if I decide I don’t want the order and refuse it?
A: If you refuse delivery for any reason, you are responsible for the original shipping charges that may be incurred as well as the return shipping costs. These costs will be deducted from your purchase price and a credit would be processed for the remaining balance.

Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchases at Some Kind of Garden Media. Should the need arise for you to return or exchange an item, the following is our Return/Exchange Policy:

Q:  How do I start the return process?
A:  Please contact us and let us know of your intention to return or exchange an item at All returns or exchange requests must be made via email.

Q: How long do I have to return the package?
A:  All returns or exchanges must be received within 14 days of return authorization.

Q: To whom should I return my item(s)?
A:  To Some Kind of Garden Media, c/o 4th Way Fulfillment, 318 Graves Ave., Oxnard, CA  93030.

Q:  Are there any special conditions for returns?
A:  1) The item(s) must be in new, unaltered condition, must have a copy of the original packing slip included.  Shipping charges are not refundable. 

2) Some Kind of Garden Media will inspect all returned merchandise, and at our discretion accept or deny your return/exchange request. In the event your return is denied for any reason, Some Kind of Garden Media will return the merchandise back to the buyer at the buyer's expense.
3) Once a return has been accepted, a credit will be issued to your original form of payment for the full purchase price less any shipping charges received. Please note that it may take five working days for the credit to appear, depending on your credit card/banking institution.

Q: Should I insure my return package?  
A:  Please insure your Return/Exchange for the purchase price. We also do not assume responsibility for faulty or damaged goods after the 14-day return period has passed.

Q: Anything else I should know?
A:  All returns and exchanges are at the sole discretion of Some Kind of Garden Media. 
Some Kind of Garden Media does not assume responsibility for lost packages that we do not ship ourselves.
